You are right I was not talking about Medium support I was talking about Newsbreak support since Newsbreak uses the term "views" while Medium uses the term "reads" and neither measures for the term "bounces" although Medium does measure average reading time for a story.
Since you are implying that I am lying about having a conversation with support, it was in response to asking why some stories have a one-to-one ratio of impressions to views, but support did not answer that.
I never implied there is something wrong with writing for money- I said that by offering money Newsbreak attracted writers who were interested in the money but not necessarily interested in writing local stories, which is the gap that Newsbreak is intending to fill. You attributed to me something that I did not say.
It comes across as insincere when you say good luck on something that you are betting will fail. If others have tried this before, It has certainly never reached my home town. It is based on a model that the founder successfully tried in China. Newsbreak is the most downloaded app in the world. I wager against you, I'm betting it succeeds,
